The Conservative Masorti Olami Congregation, led by Rabbi Ron Hoffberg will move from the Spanelska Synagogue to a new venue for the High Holiday Services. By generous courtesy of the Ministry of Culture, the large Lecture Hall of the National Museum (at the top of and facing down Vaclavske Namesti) has been made available.

The Lecture Hall, on the left after entering the Main Entrance, holds up to 200 people.

All former Members of and others who are unaffiliated are welcome to join the High Holiday Services commencing on Friday evening with Rosh Hashana.

Times of services are as follows:

  • Friday, 6th September: 7.0p.m.
  • Saturday, 7th September: 9.0a.m. to approx. 12.30p.m. resuming for afternoon and evening services at 7.0p.m.
  • Sunday, 8th September: 9.0a.m. to approx. 12.30p.m.
  • Sunday, 8th September: Mincha will be held at 6.30p.m. at 13 Platernska, Prague 1, 1st Floor and Tashlich will follow at the bank of the Vltava. Conclusion of Rosh Hashana at 8.15p.m.

Services will be held at the Libenska Synagogue at the side of Palmovka Station. Tram connections are 3, 7 and 24.

  • Friday, 6th September: 6.0p.m.
  • Saturday, 7th September: 10.0a.m.
